SWERC Barcelona site is hosted by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB).

The event takes place at UPC Campus Nord, in the Vertex Building and the C6 and A5 buildings.

Registration is in the Upper hall of the Vertex Building (Edifici Vèrtex), at Plaça Eusebi Güell, 6, 08034 Barcelona.

Getting here by public transport

From central Barcelona: take metro L3 (green line) towards Zona Universitària and get off at Palau Reial. Walk to the Vertex Building using the campus map above; allow approximately 10–15 minutes.
From Barcelona Sants railway station: follow the signs to the metro and take L3 towards Zona Universitària to Palau Reial, then walk as above.
From Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN): take metro L9 Sud from Aeroport T1 or Aeroport T2 to Zona Universitària, then walk approximately 15 minutes to the Vertex Building.

For the airport metro, use a ticket or pass valid at Aeroport T1 and Aeroport T2: the T-casual and ordinary single metro ticket are not valid at these stations. See TMB's airport metro and ticket information.

Registration

The Barcelona site accepts registration fees by bank transfer. Bank account details will be sent to the accepted teams after the registration deadline.

Accommodation

Resa offers SWERC participants a 15% discount on the rates published on its website. Use the active promotional code SWERC26 when booking directly with Resa.

Places are limited and subject to availability, so we recommend booking early. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own accommodation directly with the provider.

Schedule (tentative)

Activities at the Barcelona site take place on December 19–20. There are no scheduled activities or on-site check-in on Friday, December 18.
